Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
Now, I'm hoping one day to be able to go to my straight friends civil partnership - that's what they'd like, and I can't see why the opening up shouldn't be two way. I'm very happy with my own civil partnership, but all for people being able to have whichever they want!
