ooh, I'm first! Thanks for the bonus episode - you podcasting wonder you - and love the book. Wish it came in ebook format 'cause I like my knitting patterns on the iPad. However, since I doubt I will win (cause I'm first), I might just add it to my Christmas Wish List!

A bonus podcast with Alana, what more could we ask for. The coastal knits book is amazing, and it was really interesting to hear your interview with Alana and some more about her background. Thanks! (knitsforklipskaap on Rav)

Thank you for your warm and inspiring podcast. It has been interesting from the first episode, the knitting, the adventures, the interviews and not the least your views on events in the UK as e.g. the riots, when you showed such understanding and empathy towards the less fortunate in our western society, and also got out yourself to help clean the stress. I really admired you in that moment.
Really also enjoyed the episode when you and your husband went to the market, giggled on my end too.
Oh, and I do like the new book Coastal Knits, the Gnarled Oak cardigan is on my someday wishlist together with yarn.
Take care,

It was so nice to hear Alana Dakos! Thanks for organizing this interview and letting us know her a bit better. Her designs are so inspiring... Out of Coastal Knits, I love the Rustling Leaves Beret (I'm a sucker for hats!).

Another podcast from you that is a pleasure to listen to. I was very heartened that you said you couldnt crochet! Its nice to know that others have problems mastering techniques of one sort or another.
It was nice to get such background on the book and the interview was ace.
Hope you feel better soon.

The more I see Alana's Gnarled Oak Cardigan the more I see myself in it. I guess I better ramp up the search for the necessary yarn.

I enjoyed your interview with Alanna. It is interesting to hear about the publishing process with a physically remote collaborator.

Loved this podcast, and I am definitely eyeing the book for purchase. Isn't it amazing what we can do virtually these days?

Love you podcast! I've been listening since the first episode and I adore how you keep things playful! And of course, since I'm a silly American, your accent is the icing on the cake! Also, Alana's patterns are just spectacular, and this book looks amazing! Thanks for interviewing her. :-)

OOhh awesome bonus episode, thanks for offering a awesome giveaway xx

Thank you for this interview.

My husband and I took a road trip in the fall to the part of the Central Coast which inspired this book. Hearing so much about it in advance and then taking hikes in the places which are depicted in Alana's projects was quite surreal.

Now off to listen to more of YOUR back episodes here.

Fantastic interview! I was so sad when Alana announced that she may or may not return to podcasting, so I'm soaking up every interview she does. And thank you for the giveaway! I feel like I'm one of the last knitters on earth to get this book, and I'd love to win it. Love both Alana's and Hannah's style aesthetics.

I missed this when it was first posted! Thank you for interviewing Alana, you had different questions then some other interviewers and it was great to hear more from her. And so much fun to hear her 'theme' music again!
