You mean I have to choose which Abstract Cat colorways I like best? They're all so pretty! I especially like Brickworks 2 and Silver Teardrop.

Ooh yummy giveaway! I think Sprightly is my favourite colourway, though Pinewoods is a close second!

So many beautiful colorways! I was leaning toward Silver Teardrop ... and then I saw Conkered. Oh my! It's like all of autumn's beautiful colors in one gorgeous skein!

Thanks for the lovely podcast again. I ABSOLUTELY love the iced blue raspberry colorway and I was going to purchase it but alas, she can't ship to the US. She has really beautiful yarns though :)

Just found your podcast, very fun! The yarn giveaway is fun too, I guess I'd choose the True Blue colorway, so pretty. :)

Oh my! There are too many to choose from. It was nearly Apple Core or Cosmo, but I've gone for Conkered - I must be getting ready for autumn. They are really lovely and at quite reasonable prices for hand dyed stuff. I will be back!

Mmmmmm indeed, I think green day, but so much lovliness! Kai mei is a great pattern, the lace bit is easy once you get the hang of it (just follow the instructions) and then you get to feel all smug and "go me" at the awesomness you have made

Too many beautiful colourways! I think I have to pick Darkest Night but I also adore Plumage and Loch Indaal ;)

So many lovely colours. I've ordered from Abstract Cat before and gone for the stronger shades, but I love the muted Apple Core shade - ideal for some autumn socks :)

Oh my goodness, if I hadn't just spent a fortune on wallpaper and paint for the kitchen ...

I loved most of the colours but especially loved silver moonlight, birdhouse, electric, purple rose, and hopscotch. I'll definatly be visiting again.

Thanks for a great podcast. Loved it.

Great episode...
My favorite color from Abstract Cat? It's very hard to pick just one, but I'll go for Crazy Paving :)

I went to the Abstract Cat shop to choose my favourite and changed my mind on every page! I finally settled on Rotterdam :)

Gracey is not my name.... said...

Oh my gosh! Too many! I have seen this yarn mentioned many times, but since I'm in the States have never seen it in person...Firstly would be Green Dream, because really all green in dreamy! Then Fresh Lemons! Just look at that color! Hopscotch and Rotterdam are so, so pretty! and I'm gonna stop with those four...

As hard as it was to only pick out one color, I am in LOVE with Ice Blue Rasberry. Just gorgeous!

Ocean floor or Crazy Paving for me. You are right, she does gorgeous colors. Also, thanks for directing me to the Caithness Craft collective, her accent is like good music and I like thinking of her up there crafting and podcasting. It expands my world.

Hard to choose between all the lovely shades at Abstract Cat :) I really like Storm Force.

Oh and I just finished a jumper out of Madelinetosh Baltic - totally agree about the colour. :) Little Colonnade is going to look stunning in it!

I love the new Playful Day colourway, and of all the ones in the shop, I am leaning toward Allegro, I mean Birdhouse, I mean Pebblebeach, oh noes, um, definitely Peach Sundae.

My favorite colorway from the Abstract Cat was the Red Wine and Chocolate: I bought it a while back :-)

I LOVE YOUR ACCENT! I don't think I can ever say that enough - I wish the rest of the podcasters out there (including myself, though the DH would perfer me having an Austrailian accent) to have accents.

Chipmunk (the one that can't cross big boarders) (http://www.folksy.com/items/1863989-Chipmunk-sport-weight-merino-yarn?shop=yes) I enjoy greatly the shades or tones of this skein that for me makes me think of comfort and home. Not sure why though. Think I'd make one of the dozen shawls out of it, that I made a list of Shawls I would like to do on my blog.

Bounce (http://www.folksy.com/items/1483741-Bounce-Sportweight-merino-yarn?shop=yes) I know exactly which shawl I would do with this, Green Dragon! Absolutely! A shawl I would NOT gift away for sure as my obsession and love of dragons would prevent me. *L*

Pink Lilly (http://www.folksy.com/items/1473729-Pink-Lily-Sportweight-merino-yarn?shop=yes) There's a cute little sexy top pattern on Ravelry that I've been dying to make (and would wear if I could hoola-loop through a Cheerio) most likely for my younger sister, or a newly married friend that I want to knit something specail for.

Cuttings (http://www.folksy.com/items/1722701-Cuttings-Superwash-Bluefaced-Leicester-sock-yarn?shop=yes) Socks or a shawl I'd make out of this or the Dragan Socks pattern that I have but not the right sock yarn.

Pinewoods (http://www.folksy.com/items/1640173-Pinewoods-Superwash-merino-nylon-sock-yarn?shop=yes) Yeah another green one, can ya tell I love green! *lol* This goregous shades I would make a HUGE Citron shawl for I'm a big gal.

Darkest Night (http://www.folksy.com/items/1844249-Darkest-Night-Superwash-merino-nylon-sock-yarn?shop=yes) Dracula's Bride Shawl!

Windblown Petals (http://www.folksy.com/items/1722733-Windblown-Petals-Silky-baby-alpaca-laceweight-yarn?shop=yes) The striking colors and the GORGEOUS shades of blues and greens mixed in are pure droolific!

Keep up the great blogging & v-casting, girlie!

If I had to pick just one, it would be Cuttings - so very early-springy!

donna said...

I'm not going to pick and you can't make me! Oh, alright then, I love Morning Walk and Rustic Rose and Green Day and Inferno and.........

Sando said...

helloooo,

well, seeing as i danced like a loon to gogol bordello at womad when they sang 'start wearing purple' and i've never worn purple let alone knitted it, i think i need to branch out a little. so, purple rose looks just the ticket.

love the caro song.

Really enjoy the podcast, keep up the good work and have a great holiday (I just returned from a roadtrip round California and want to be there again now). Love the Abstractcats yarns, and I'm always tempted by blues/greens so I would go for Aqua Choc a delicious mix of those with brown.

fab podcast, deffo going to give that soda bread a try!
Wow the colourways are all fab - loved all the orange ones (unsurprisingly!) think fresh lemons is the one that jumped out at me, but then i also loved Inferno and Blazing....no maybe Blazing was my favorite...oh poop!!!!
